I am not movie fanatic but last
night I had a chance to watch a movie “Noah 2014”. Its name caught my attention and I decided to watch it. I was very disappointed when I
found that this movie is falsifying our faith. I do not know that whether
they have made these changes deliberately or they just know that much.
But, this story of Noah is not as described in Quran, maybe it is extracted from Bible and
Tourat. So, before making film on such an important event and on such
an important personality, it must be discussed with scholars of Islam.
They have changed some of the very important events. Quran shares the exact story. I would describe few of things which
are not according to true spirit of Islam.
First, they have told us in the
movie that angels “the watchers” disobey Allah because they helped humans to
build the civilization. But, at the end there was evil everywhere.
How this can be possible? Angels cannot
deny the orders of Allah.
The strayed nation used to make
fun of Prophet Noah, they were not willing to accept Islam and ride on the boat
to save themselves. But, the movie depicts non believers were fighting to enter
in the ark to save their lives against Allah’s will.
Although, Prophet Noah was the
savior but it was not the end of the humanity. Allah has created human being
for some special purposes.
Secondly, only Allah can
heal any girl from its diseases not some grandfather. According to the movie
his grandfather healed the girl, his son used to love but Prophet Noah said “it
is the against the will of Allah.
Then, Allah knows that Prophet
Noah was human, otherwise Allah can send arc on His own for Prophet Noah and believers. As
much I know there were some pairs of animals, birds and few others not
thousands of animals and birds just came to arc.
Then, as we know that all the
messengers of Allah are innocent and free of sins, they have showed us that
Noah was willing to kill his granddaughters to seek Allah’s pleasure.
They have showed him naked which
is totally wrong as well.
One of Prophet Noah’s son was
among disbelievers and they have showed that he was in arc. Truth is only
believers of Allah were in arc and even Prophet Noah sacrificed for his son
because he was non believer.
There are other mistakes
as well. Before start making films on such an important topics and topics of
religious importance, it must be consulted with Muslim scholars.
